HECVAT Assessment
Download our HECVAT form (v4.16) with responses to questions applicable to desktop software. Many vendor assessment questions (cloud infrastructure, SOC2 audits, etc.) are marked N/A or are kept empty as they apply to hosted services, not local applications.
Security & Privacy
LabPlot is a desktop application that runs entirely on local machines. It does not collect, transmit, or store any user data. All data processing occurs locally on your computer.
About the Organization
LabPlot is an open-source project under the KDE umbrella, supported by KDE e.V. (a registered non-profit in Germany).

Support LabPlot's Development
If your institution benefits from LabPlot, please consider establishing a recurring donation via Liberapay. Regular monthly or annual contributions—even modest ones—are far more valuable than sporadic one-time donations because they:
- Enable planning: Predictable funding lets us commit to long-term improvements and roadmap features
- Sustain development: Consistent support allows contributors to dedicate regular time to the project
- Build momentum: Reliable funding attracts new contributors who see the project has stable backing
- Reduce uncertainty: Knowing we can count on institutional support helps us make confident technical decisions
A $50/month recurring donation from your institution provides more value than a $1000 one-time gift because it signals lasting commitment and enables us to plan accordingly.
